What is up my bruthas and Sistas! I've got these things, called drums that make a lot of noise when I hit them. I spend a good part of my day hitting things - mostly made of wood, so I guess it makes sense that I play the drums. I've been playing the drums for a very long time and as a matter of fact I think I know the beat to almost every song written in the last 50 years - I'm not saying I'm that old, I just remember everything I hear, sometimes, well part of the time - I think. Now I don't wear any shoes or socks when I play my drums; I'm a firm believer that what a woman wants in a man is nice pair of calloused feet he can rub against her skin. As a drummer I'm also the timekeeper - not that I'm ever on time for anything, but that was the only job they had left when I joined Dirty Side Down, by the way I think I need a new watch. I've been in a few bands in my time, but Petty Theft was the band I spent most of my time with, and where I got to enjoy the luxurious life style of being on the road, and let me tell you what - Miller High Life may be the Champagne of beers, but it doesn't compare to the luxury of the roach traps we slept in on the road. I'm really happy with what we have with DSD; there are really no egos to deal with anymore. Everyone wants to have fun and that's what we're about and that's what we're doing. It's also really cool that I don't have to make all of the decisions anymore. Well, that's about all it got folks, because spare time is at a premium in my household. I'm looking forward to getting out and seeing all of you at our shows; and don't forget to send a Miller High Life my way.
